Mr. Vice Chairman also requested relevant sectors such as the Management Board of the Provincial Economic Zone, customs, border guards, and quarantine forces to take actions in enabling the export of "Thieu" lychees. The Department of Industry and Trade was requested to take responsibility in consulting the PPC to propose with central ministries and sectors to extend the lychee-exporting working hours until 22 hours.

From the Chinese side, Mr. Duong Bang, Vice Chairman of Hekou County, said that this is a good opportunity for both countries’ enterprises to foster coordination and exchange, increase import and export turnovers between Lao Cai and Hekou border gates. Representative of Hekou County, Yunnan Province (China) also committed to create favorable conditions for enterprises of both countries, provide timely information on consumer demand so that Vietnamese enterprises can manage the supply in the lychee exporting season.
