VIETRADE - Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh, Chairman of Viet Nam National Branding Program Council has issued Decision No. 2534 / QD-BCT recognizing 124 enterprises with a total of 283 products achieving Viet Nam Value (National Branding Program) in 2020.

 

Viet Nam Value (National Branding Program) is the Government's unique, long-term and unique trade promotion program aimed at building and developing national brands through product brands. Participation in the Program is a process for enterprises to comprehensively evaluate activities, production / business results and branding strategy through the program's criteria system; thereby encouraging enterprises to share and pursue the core values ​​of the Program, which is Quality – Innovation-Leadership.

 

Over nearly 17 years of establishment and development, the Viet Nam Value has achieved positive results, attracting special attention and creating reputations for businesses and regulators. as well as domestic and foreign consumers; honoring typical product brands and enterprises representing National Brand, contributing to affirm Viet Nam as a country with high quality goods and services and highly competitive in the domestic and International markets.

 

Despite the difficult circumstances due to the outbreak of Covid-19, the 7th National Branding Program selection period in 2020 still attracts the participation of more than 1,000 enterprises nationwide.

 

Applications for registration for selection are evaluated and assessed according to the criteria specified in the Prime Minister's Decision No. 30/2019 / QD-TTg dated October 8, 2019 and Circular No. 33/2019 / TT-BCT dated November 22, 2019 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. At the same time, the implementation of social responsibility of businesses participating in the Program is also confirmed through functional agencies such as the General Department of  Taxation (Ministry of  Finance), General Department of Customs (Ministry of  Finance), Viet Nam Environment Administration (Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment), Departments of Natural Resources and Environment, Departments of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, Vietnam Social Insurance, Credit Information Center (State Bank) .

 

After more than 9 months of launching and implementing selection activities, on September 29, 2020, Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh, Chairman of the Viet Nam National Branding Program Coucil , issued Decision No. 2534 / QD-BCT recognizing 124 enterprises with a total of 283 products achieving Viet Nam National Branding Program in 2020. Thus, compared to 2018, the country has 27 more enterprises with products of Viet Nam National Branding Program. This is a testament to the attraction and influence of the Program on businesses in the promotion of import and export of products, goods and services as well as developing the domestic market.

 

One of the bright spots in the selection of products to achieve the Viet Nam National Branding Program is that this year's program has attracted a number of famous brands in the market to register for the first time in the program such as VnPay, Xuan Hoa, Mobifone, BRG, Cholimex, Nam Ha Pharmaceutical, Richy, Pan, Vinawind ... Not only that, there are a number of groups and subsidiaries registered to participate in the selection such as Hoa Phat Group-Joint Stock Company, Equipment Corporation Vietnam Electricity - GELEX, BRG Group.

 

It is expected that the Viet Nam National Branding Program Announcement Ceremony will be held at the end of November 2020 at the Hanoi Opera House and broadcast live on Viet Nam Television (VTV).
